My career in real estate was initiated while attending college in the 80s; I took several courses in real estate theory. My interest continued while attending the School of Business at the University of Southern California (USC). I graduated and was awarded my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; my emphasis was in finance with a minor in real estate. I obtained my real estate sales persons license and thereafter my broker’s license. Continuing education courses, seminars, and webinars keep me up to date in this ever changing  industry.

The hands-on part of my career commenced in 1990. First as a mortgage loan consultant, and soon thereafter I started a business partnership concentrating in real estate sales and mortgage financing. First Priority Real Estate focused on the buying, selling, and leasing of residential real estate, and at times dabbled in commercial real estate. Trimerica Financial Group concentrated on real estate purchase loans and refinance loans for our customers. In 2009, confident and knowledgeable, I decided to become an independent real estate broker.

Over the years I’ve learned that agents, while holding a real estate license, are not properly trained, and do not know how to correctly prepare, structure, and present an offer. When representing a seller, I’m very critical of the offers received, and will guide my seller to avoid unnecessary pitfalls.

Working as a mortgage broker for 18 years gave me the knowledge to be able to talk to a prospective buyer’s lender to determine if the buyer is truly qualified for their purchase loan. When a lender can’t respond to essential questions, or provide the necessary documentation concerning the buyer’s qualification, then I will recommend that we not proceed with that buyer.

The invaluable years of experience and knowledge gained are a priceless asset for my clientele and brokerage. I’m involved in the full spectrum of the real state transaction, will be the point of contact, and the one to guide you through all aspects of the real estate transaction.
